101 Days of Lula is a superbly written memoir based on a very creative concept that is full of emotion from start to finish. I haven't came across a book like this in awhile. As a document of sexual obsession, it is compelling on many levels. Basically, over the course of the book, you become a voyeur to an older man's sexual desires for a young, Asian, escort/prostitute. It reminded me of Henry Miller's sexual exploits in Paris ( which he wrote about extensively in his novel "Tropic of Cancer") or that 80s erotic film Nine 1/2 Weeks, starring Mickey Rourke. Lula delves even further into the darker side of man's amorous eccentricities. 101 Days of Lula share many things in common with the best of the genre. For those who enjoy erotic lit, give 101 Days of Lula a try. You won't be disappointed.

I think that there are a lot of underlying themes that many people can relate to in some sort of way, not literally or exactly the same as the way it goes in the story; but by this I mean that I know there are many people that have experienced unrequited love before and have felt similar feelings as the old man and even in some cases the escort. I really like the characters in in this book because at first you only know a little about them but as the story progresses on, the reader ends up learning more and the book starts to get very personal which for me made it very captivating and made me want to keep reading. I haven't came across a book like this in awhile and I doubt I will again for a long time, it is very unique and original and expressed in a very high quality writing style.Product details

101 Days of Lula reminded me very much of that 1980s erotic film Nine 1/2 Weeks starring Mickey Rourke. Both are about sexual partners caught up in obsessive relationships. In the case of Lula, the plot has been updated to have a more modern feel. The story is about an older man who begins an affair with an internet escort, a young, beautiful Asian woman named Lula. Much the same way as the majority of these stories go, he ends up falling madly in love with her despite the fact that she is obviously damaged and at times is incapable of even reciprocating his earnest feelings towards her.
There is something about these explicit erotic narratives that has a certain appeal to most people, myself included. Love is a very spirited emotion, capable of invoking among other things either personal sacrifice or brutal violence. So it isn't any wonder why love has been the favorite subject of philosophers, poets, and authors ever since the days when man first contemplated his own feelings. Erotic narratives like Lula usually delve even further into the darker side of mankind's amorous eccentricities. 101 Days of Lula shares many things in common with the best of the genre. The characters from the very beginning are heading towards disaster and, like watching a slow moving train wreck, the reader presses on page by page in order to see the brutal details laid out to bare. Along the way, we're shown a world of perversion that isn't so fantastic to not be real but is a realm which few of us will ever tread.
So as with many classics of erotic literature, Lula is escapism, voyeurism, and dark literature rolled into one exciting narrative that effectively holds the readers attention. The narrator and his muse Lula are both poignant characters more so because of their flaws than in spite of them. They're each driven by different needs, but their motivations are genuinely human nonetheless. In this regard, it is easy for us to relate to them even if their world is something which is ultimately foreign to our own. But for a few hours, we can share this world of deviance and corruption with them from the safety of our own reading rooms. For those who enjoy erotic lit, give 101 Days of Lula a try today. You won't be disappointed.
Garbage, horrible, how on earth this came to be in print I don't know. Total and utter crap. If I were this guy, I would be embarrassed and humiliated. It sucks so very much. Don't even waste a minute in it. It's that bad..really, really bad. I only gave it a star because I had to.
101 Days of Lula (Lula Lee is a girl escort) Is a great tale of sexual obsession,hot and spicy reads from start to finish, this book was so sexy I had to cool my kindle down. I have to say that this is one of the first I have read like this but I was not able to stop reading until the final page. I have to say this has made me want to read more books like the Tale of Lula Lee Fascinating. A perfect quick read.

In some ways, it reminded me a little of Henry Miller's sexual exploits in Paris, which he wrote about extensively in his novel "Tropic of Cancer." Of course I'm not saying it's as good as that book, but you can see the similarities. These sort of stories always end in heartbreak, and you have to give the writer a little credit for opening himself up to the world for scrutiny.
